Blending bluegrass tradition with contemporary folk, You, Me, Everybody have become one of Aotearoa’s most distinctive acoustic acts. Built around rich three part harmonies and the interplay of guitar, banjo, mandolin/fiddle and double bass, the band’s sound is rooted in the spirit of bluegrass while constantly stretching its boundaries. Described as “an implosion of talent and musical ideas, under the banner of bluegrass”, each member is constantly looking to make space for the others, while also taking their moment to shine.

Originally hailing from Hobart, Kier is now a regular fixture in the Melbourne music scene performing his solo blues/folk/roots originals and also as a member of various bands playing an assortment of styles (country, cumbia, exotica, rock, and experimental improvised music just to name a few!).

Kier Stevens’ solo shows, while based primarily in balladry and blues, offer unmatched variety of music ranging from old-timey acoustic sounds, heavy rock riffage, and screaming steel guitar solos all the way through to haunting ambient improvisations and even nods to Carnatic rhythmic traditions.

Friday nights are getting social this September.

We’re lighting the fire pit from 5pm every Friday, with live music, the bar open and our sourdough pizzas firing.

Come for a drink, stay for dinner, and settle in for an easy Spring evening at Nest. Alongside our pizzas, we’ll have seasonal dinner specials, local wines and plenty of good tunes.

Deborah of Creative Corner Wagga will show you how to make a gorgeous macrame wreath perfect for Christmas or all year round! Your 6 inch hoop will be decorated with the softest luxurious cotton thread, hand dyed in Australia and with a few simple knots you’ll be surprised at how easy it is to create.

Beginning with learning the basic knots needed for the project, this workshop is suited for beginners and those who have also dabbled in other knotty crafts.

You’ll be welcomed with a let’s get festive cocktail and enjoy Nests favourite celebration season canapes and drinks into the evening. An opportunity to gather round the Nest table with the girls for a classy crafternoon.
